FSL/Royal Valley Trip to KC
On Saturday the 1st of March Mr. B and I took the FSL students on a whirlwind tour of Kansas City. We started the day at the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum followed by lunch at the Arthur Bryants. Both sites offered the students much history and much entertainment. I always find the individual stories the most intriguing. The story of Josh Gibson for one is an example of triumph and tragedy. As for Arthur Bryants what can I say, YUUUUUUUUUUM. After lunch the group headed over to the National World War I Museum. Wow! What an exciting place. Their is so much history and the flow of the Museum is extremely effective as well. Fun and Education was had by all.
