Go to the Ferris website, (www.ferris.edu/news/jimcrow), and search some of the Jim Crow laws of the United States of America. Do you find any of these laws offensive? If no, put yourself in the shoes of those for whom the laws were intended. What do you think of the Ferris website? Very educational isn't it.

Confederates in the Attic by Tony Horwitz

I am looking for some general comments on this book. What did you like or dislike about this book. Did anyone else find the disputed Civil War history throughout the book as intriguing as I did or do you perhaps dispute the disputer(sp)?
